Where I Stay in Atlanta: Bellyard Hotel
Atlanta is one of those cities I never get tired of visiting, and every trip feels a little different. Whether I’m in town for a weekend getaway, exploring new restaurants, or simply enjoying the city’s energy, I always appreciate staying somewhere that reflects the personality of the neighborhood. That’s exactly why I love Bellyard Hotel in West Midtown.
Located within The Interlock, Bellyard places you in one of Atlanta’s most exciting districts. West Midtown has become known for its creative spirit, incredible dining, walkable streets, and vibrant atmosphere. It feels modern and energetic while still maintaining the character that makes Atlanta such a memorable destination.
One of the things I appreciate most about Bellyard is its design. As part of Marriott’s Tribute Portfolio, the hotel embraces West Midtown’s industrial heritage with a fresh, contemporary style. The lobby is warm and inviting, the artwork reflects the neighborhood’s creative culture, and every space feels thoughtfully designed without trying too hard. It’s sophisticated, comfortable, and distinctly Atlanta.
The guest rooms continue that experience with floor to ceiling windows, comfortable bedding, spacious bathrooms, luxury amenities, and beautiful city views in many rooms. After a full day exploring Atlanta, it’s the perfect place to relax and recharge before heading back out for dinner or an evening walk through the neighborhood.
One of the biggest reasons I enjoy staying here is the location. Step outside the hotel and you’ll immediately find yourself surrounded by outstanding restaurants, inviting outdoor spaces, entertainment, and plenty of opportunities for shopping. Whether you’re looking to spend the afternoon browsing, enjoying a leisurely meal, or simply soaking in the atmosphere, everything is conveniently within reach.
Dining is another reason Bellyard stands out. The hotel is home to Drawbar, its signature restaurant and bar, along with Crave, a welcoming café that’s perfect for coffee or a light breakfast before heading out to explore. Beyond the hotel, West Midtown offers an incredible collection of restaurants representing a wide variety of cuisines, making every visit an opportunity to discover somewhere new.
Bellyard also makes an excellent home base for exploring the rest of Atlanta. Midtown, Georgia Tech, Piedmont Park, the Atlanta Beltline, museums, sporting events, and many of the city’s most popular attractions are all just a short drive away. Whether it’s your first visit or your tenth, you’ll find yourself perfectly positioned to experience the best of the city.
What I love most about Bellyard is that it feels connected to its surroundings. It isn’t just a beautiful hotel. It feels like part of West Midtown itself. The combination of thoughtful design, outstanding hospitality, and one of Atlanta’s most desirable neighborhoods creates an experience that’s every bit as memorable as the city you’re visiting.
If you’re planning a trip to Atlanta and want a hotel that blends modern luxury with a genuine sense of place, Bellyard Hotel is one I would absolutely recommend. For me, it’s more than simply where I stay. It’s become part of what I love about visiting Atlanta.
